Kuhikuhi: Pointing The Way To Hawaiian-Owned Businesses

Today’s visitors (and kamaʻāina) find businesses in new ways – with apps and websites on their mobile devices. Kuhikuhi is a searchable, mobile-first website with categories, locations, and ratings that helps connect potential customers to Hawaiian-owned businesses.

Built in partnership with Hawaiʻi’s Native Hawaiian Chambers of Commerce, Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority, Kamehameha Schools, Movers and Shakas, and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Kuhikuhi will help direct business to ʻoihana ʻōiwi – Hawaiian-owned small businesses in our communities.

From restaurants to retail, plumbers to physical therapists, lei makers to mechanics and more – visit Kuhikuhi.com to find and support Hawaiian-owned businesses.

NaHHA works to support kamaʻāina businesses as they grow.

NaHHA works at the intersection of our visitor industry and our local businesses to reduce capital flight, maximizing the benefits of tourism to our community. We do this by supporting local businesses from concept to execution, by helping connect vendors and service providers with opportunities in the visitor industry, and through robust partnerships and sponsorships.

In 2023 and 2024 NaHHA will execute cohort opportunities of the Pākolea and Kaiāulu Hoʻokipa Programs specifically designed to grow capacity of Hawaiian focused small businesses and community groups. More information will be shared soon about the program details and how to apply!
